The fifth China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) is in full swing in Hainan, with over 1,700 companies and 4,100 brands from 70 countries and regions showcasing their latest consumer products. Amid increasing uncertainties in international trade, Shandong enterprises are actively leveraging the expo to expand their global presence and embrace new development opportunities.
Zibo Daranfang Silk Group, a leading silk enterprise with a complete industry chain, has brought its best-selling international products to the expo. In recent years, the company has shifted from focusing solely on overseas markets to integrating domestic and foreign trade. The company's domestic sales reached 50 million yuan ($6.84 million) in the first quarter of 2025.
Taishan Sports Industry Group, a sports industry leader in Shandong, is making its fifth appearance at the expo. The company is showcasing its all-scenario functional lawn system – including cooling grass and "skiing grass" – designed to promote the popularization of ice and snow sports.
"The national policies to boost consumption provide us with great opportunities to expand our presence domestically," said Bian Qingfeng, chairman of Taishan Sports Industry Group.
Tengzhou AnChuan Automation Machinery, a tech company specializing in 3D printing, displayed its 3D-printed slippers at the expo, which attracted many visitors.
"We hope to seek overseas opportunities and better meet consumer demands through personalized customization through this expo," said Gu Hong, the company's vice-general manager.
